A grassroots football league streams matches to fans who cannot make it to the ground.
The league wanted to reach fans who could not attend matches physically. With Lipatazama, they set up a camera at one end of the pitch and stream each match. Fans pay KES 100 per match or KES 500 for a season pass.
The setup uses a single camera with RTMP output connected to a laptop running OBS. The stream goes out via SRT for reliability even on slower connections.
"We never thought grassroots football could be streamed professionally. Lipatazama made it possible."- League Coordinator, Mombasa
